This is such a sweet little bear cub beautifully created by master carver, Maxx Laate. Maxx comes from a family of highly talented Zuni carvers and he has passed his knowledge onto his nephew Derrick Kaamasee. Most of Maxx's Fetishes are carved from antler, so this little turquoise bear is quite unusual. His work is highly collectible. The turquoise is a pretty aqua blue with a band of pyrite. The eyes are inlaid black jet. Bears are powerful healers and protectors and are the guardians of the west.... and who couldn't use a little extra protection these days?! Signed on the bottom Maxx.
I will include a bag of blue cornmeal to honor and nourish your fetish.

Protect your jewelry from harsh chemicals and solvents as they can damage turquoise and other stones. I recommend using a Sunshine Cloth or similar to polish your silver. Do not immerse or subject your jewelry to running water as it can dislodge the stone from the setting.
